LOS ANGELES — Local Radio Networks (LRN) has added to its team of “24/7 music format experts” by bringing in a new VP of Affiliate Sales.
Matt Caldaronello takes the role after serving nearly 13 years as VP of Affiliate Management at Westwood One, and before that five years as its VP of Affiliate Sales.
Caldaronello joined WWO, now owned by Cumulus Media, in June 1998, taking the job of Director of Affiliate Relations.
The hiring of Caldaronello marks the fourth defection from Westwood One seen at LRN; 18 months ago three other WWO execs joined LRN.
More executive announcements are expected in the coming weeks, LRN noted in a release distributed early Tuesday (1/8).
