A Michigan-based 24/7 music radio programming provider focused on small and medium-sized markets is tightening its relationship with Skyview Networks by naming it its exclusive network sales partner.
Concurrently, ABC Radio is poised to provide additional content to the affiliates of Local Radio Networks (LRN), thanks to a new agreement that becomes effective Jan. 1, 2019.
In a joint release distributed Wednesday afternoon, Skyview said ABC Radio “will provide its worldwide resources to drive additional programming opportunities to LRN” and its affiliate stations.
LRN CEO Steve Swick said, “Launching this relationship with ABC Radio and Skyview Networks allows us to expand our 24/7 programming footprint and distribute our music formats with dual delivery platforms of cloud-based and now satellite delivery via XDS smart receivers to potentially thousands of stations.”
Skyview EVP/GM Jeanne-Marie Condo added, “From a network sales perspective, we are experiencing heavy inventory demand and LRN’s music formats and market reach help deliver on the entertainment experiences brands are seeking. At Skyview one of our strengths is providing advertisers custom integrations. LRN’s dynamic personalities really allow us to double-down and provide clients more of what they want.”
LRN and ABC News Radio entered into an affiliation agreement earlier this year.
