Hispanic specialist Liberman Broadcasting has to spend only $6M to gain entrée into the expensive New York media market – but it’ll be doing it from a distant suburb with a low power television station. In fact, WASA-LP is in Port Jervis NY, on a river – the Delaware – more closely associated with Philadephia PA. But DMAs being what they are, it is part of New York (it’s SW of Middletown NY). The seller is Venture Technologies Group. The station is on analog 64 and headed for digital 25.
