An Evansville, Ind., LPTV’s Sale Closes. It’s A Winemiller Win

In late June, a licensee led by John Kyle II agreed to sell a host of low-power television stations in various locales. One of those transactions has now closed, putting the Evansville, Ind., facility in the hands of Jeff Winemiller.

Kyle’s King Spectrum LLC, formerly known as “DTV America I,” has completed its purchase of W06DG-D in Evansville to Winemiller’s Lowcountry 34 Media.

The purchase price was $11,000.

Bob Heymann of the Chicago office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive
broker for Kyle in this transaction.

The sale of W06DG-D was filed concurrently with a transaction that saw Castelli Media acquire two other Evansville LPTVs and a Santa Barbara, Calif., facility from Kyle through his DTV America I licensee. That transaction, valued at $35,000, still awaits closing.
