Louisville Radio/TV Owner Appoints VP/GM

It owns a Gospel-formatted AM with an FM translator; an Adult R&B AM with its own FM translator; and an independent Class A low-power TV station presently home to a host of digital multicast networks.


These three Aircom Media properties now have a new day-to-day leader.

Taking the position of VP/GM for WLLI-AM, WLOU-AM and WMYO-CD in the Louisville, Ky., market is Steve Murphy.

Murphy is inbound from “a private equity firm,” where he honed his skills in sales,
marketing and advertising as President/General Sales Manager.

Murphy said. “I look forward to leveraging my experience and expertise to propel WLOU, WLLV and WMYO-TV to even greater success, while delivering unparalleled value to our clients, listeners and viewers.”

Aircom Media is owned by David Smith.
