The oldest and one of the largest independent sales representatives specializing in small and medium-market radio stations has roped in an Adult Hits station owned by an independent broadcast company for an exclusive representation agreement.

Regional Reps Corp. will now be repping Falls Media LLC‘s Adult Hits KWFB-FM “100.9 BOB FM” in Wichita Falls, Tex.

Bob is a brother to KXXN, while Falls Media also operates the market’s ESPN Radio affiliate, KXPN-FM 95.5, via a time brokerage agreement with LKCM Radio Group.

With the Regional Reps deal codified, Falls Media “looks forward to the continued success of planning and execution of strategic radio campaigns for all our clients.”

Regional Reps Corp. was founded in 1956.

Falls Media’s roots date to August 2008, when Dan Balla and David Stewart obtained 51% ownership in BOB.

In January 2012, the owners approached a local angel investment group, Texoma Angels, with an investment opportunity to help fund the growth of the company. On Sept. 10, 2012, what was then-known as KIXC FM LLC closed on two transactions: the sale of 25% of the company to Texoma Angels and the purchase of KXXN, licensed to Iowa Park. In 2012, the company name became what it is today.

Falls Media is the only locally owned radio company in Wichita Falls.

On August 1, 2013, Falls Media welcomed industry veteran Dan Halyburton as the company’s VP.
