Litéra Corp. announced the release of its newest EEO and FCC compliance portal for radio and television broadcasters. Broadcast1Source (www.broadcast1source.com), Litéra’s second-generation portal for broadcaster compliance with EEO regulations, FCC compliance and ePIF management, replaces EEO1Source and gives U.S. broadcasters the tools they need to simplify the process of complying with the FCC’s EEO rules, while using less staff time.

This web-based portal manages the full cycle of recruiting: including interviews, hiring and source of hire information, along with automatic job notifications to selected agencies, monitors and alerts on other outreach efforts requirements. In addition, Broadcast1Source automatically creates required EEO reports, provides clients with self audit tools and compliance alerts and creates their electronic Public Inspection Files in minutes both in print form and as a posting on a branded web page. Users of the portal can now fulfill EEO requirements in a fraction of the time it used to take.

“EEO1Source had become the number one compliance portal for Broadcasters,” said Deepak  Massand, Litéra founder/CEO. “Our goal with this new portal is to make it even easier to document compliance.  By making the portal more intelligent, we are able to provide an alert system that monitors all the required reports and deadlines.”

Broadcast1Source replaces the existing EEO1Source.com (www.eeo1source.com) solution, developed by Litéra for many of the nation’s leading broadcasters’ associations. Existing customers of EEO1Source have been automatically upgraded to the new online portal to access a series of new and more robust capabilities, such as custom recruiting agency lists, blind job posting and alerts. They will also have an option to subscribe to new services, including ePIF.
