The nation’s biggest audio content creator and distributor has a new Chief Executive Officer for the unit that includes its more than 860 local broadcast radio stations; iHeartMedia live events and sponsorships; its radio networks businesses (including Premiere Networks and TTWN); and the Enterprise Business Development Group, rising from President of iHeartMedia‘s Markets Group & Sales Operations.
Ann Marie Licata is now CEO of the iHeartMedia Multiplatform Group, the largest of the company’s three operating segments.
The company’s other two operating segments will continue to be led by Conal Byrne, CEO of the Digital Audio Group, and Mark Gray, CEO of the Audio and Media Services Group.
Julie Donohue, President of the Enterprise Development Group and Julie Talbott, President of Premiere Networks, will now report directly to Licata.
The Multiplatform Group also includes the company’s data targeting and attribution products for broadcast radio.
“We couldn’t be more pleased that Ann Marie will be leading the growth and innovation efforts for our company’s largest segment,” said iHeartMedia Chairman/CEO Bob Pittman. “In addition to helping businesses and brands grow effectively and efficiently, the Multiplatform Group has been an important engine to develop our own important new businesses — including podcasting and the iHeartRadio digital service — as well as our iconic live music events and awards shows. We look forward to the additional growth that will come as we move broadcast radio into the digital buying world through our data services and programmatic platforms.”

Licata was named President, Markets Group and Sales Operations, rising from the position of Executive VP/Sales and Operations and Client Success, in July 2025 with the retirement announcement of Hartley Adkins. Licata has been associated with iHeartMedia for more than 13 years and joined iHeartMedia in 2014 from her role as Activation Director for Madison Square Garden.
Rich Bressler, the company’s President/COO, added, “We have a diversified business at iHeart, with our Multiplatform Group, the Digital Audio Group and the Audio and Media Services Group, and we’re very pleased that Ann Marie has taken on the responsibility for the Multiplatform Group at such an important time for the company.”
WEISS RISES
With Licata’s promotion, Bernie Weiss will now take on the role of President of the Markets Group. He’ll now oversee the operations of the company’s 160 markets, elevating in duties from Chief Operating Officer of the iHeartMedia Markets Group.
Weiss also earned that COO role as Adkins’ retirement was announced in July 2025. He previously served as Division President of the Northeast & Chicago Division, gaining oversight after running the City of New York stations.
Weiss joined what was Clear Channel New York in 2004 as an Account Executive for WWPR-FM “Power 105.1.” In 2005 he was named Local Sales Manager for WLTW-FM “106.7 Lite FM” and in 2008 was promoted to GSM. In 2010 he was named General Sales Manager WHTZ-FM “Z100,” WWPR-FM “Power 105.1” and WAXQ-FM “Q104.3” before rising to VP of Sales in December 2012.
