A Utah AM Changes Hands

A Class D AM serving a small Utah city between St. George and Provo is being spun.

Who’s buying this 1kw daytime facility with 1 tower that has 13 watts of power after dark, so it may protect a Canadian AM?

DCO Holding is selling KYAH-AM 540 in Delta, Utah, to KYAH LLC.

This sees a change in control from Patricia Feijo to James Feijo, who resides in Deerfield Beach, Fla.

A $100 transaction price was agreed upon.

KYAH’s nighttime power is limited by CBK-AM 540, licensed to Watrous, Saskatchewan. The Canadian Class A has a monster 50kw signal that covers the entire province and such U.S. cities as Minot, S.D., and Glasgow, Mont.
