Legacy Media – Memphis is acquiring a construction permit for a facility that will bring to the FM dial a Talk station that airs syndicated programs from such hosts as Herman Cain and Doug Stephan.

The facility is currently dark and is moving from rural Flippen, Ark. In a deal valued at $32,500, Radio 74 Internationzale – a California-based company with an Italian name – is selling K255CP, which is presently licensed for 98.9 MHZ in Flippen.

Legacy Media is shipping it to Memphis, where it will be used to rebroadcast Talk KWAM-AM 990. With two towers, KWAM broadcasts with 10kw during daylight hours and 450 watts at night.

Its talk programming includes syndicated hosts Herman Cain, Doug Stephan, Clark Howard and Todd Schnitt. Local hosts include Earle Farrell and longtime WREG-TV television news anchor Marybeth Conley.
