La Promesa Foundation has closed on its purchase of KYRT-FM licensed to Hunt, Texas and serving the Kerrville, TX area. The Seller, Munbilla Broadcasting, is headed by Shane Fox and also owns a FM CP for Kingsland, TX. The Buyer is headed by Len Oswald and has several other broadcast properties in Texas. The purchase price was $185,000.
Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group represented the Seller as the exclusive broker for this transaction.
Whitley tells RBR-TVBR: “KYRT is licensed to Hunt, Texas and from its tower site it throws a good competitive signal over Kerrville and the surrounding Hill Country of Texas.”
