Kolbjornsen To Conduct Telemundo’s Responsible Acts

Corporate social responsibility, community engagement and partners, and public affairs are growing areas of importance for corporations across many industries.


Now, NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises has tapped a veteran of Wells Fargo to lead its Corporate Affairs division and help create, implement and market the Spanish-language network’s corporate social responsibility platform.

Taking the role of SVP/Corporate and External Affairs is Christina Kolbjornsen. She will be based in Miami and report to EVP/CMO Mónica Gil.

“We are thrilled to welcome Christina to the NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises,” said Gil. “She brings a wealth of experience in corporate affairs and reputation management, as well as deep community connections across the county that will allow us to build on our award-winning programs and enhance our support to our stakeholders to better serve the US Hispanic community.”

Kolbjornsen was previously SVP/Head of Segments and Marketing Communications at Wells Fargo, and before that was VP/Corporate Communications Manager for the Florida region.

At Wells Fargo, she led internal and external communications for marketing and key consumer segments which include Hispanic, LGBT, Military/Veterans, Native American, African American, Asian, and People with Disabilities, including engagement with key stakeholder groups and national diverse organizations.

Kolbjornsen has a rich history in multicultural marketing and communications, and has been VP/Corporate Communications at Miami-based agency República, now a part of Havas.
