SoldKRTT-FM Great Bend KS has been sold, giving the buyer its second in-state radio outlet and diminishing the Midwest holdings of the seller.


The station is a Class A on 88.1 MHz with 900 W @ 128’.

The buyer is Divine Mercy Radio Inc., headed by Lester J. Robben. It already owns KVDM-FM in Hays KS.

The seller is Florida Public Radio Inc., headed by Randy Henry. Despite its name, it has extensive Midwest holdings. In its portfolio are four Florida FMs, and it also has four in Kansas and two in Iowa. Additionally, it owns one FM translator each in Iowa and Oklahoma.

The value of the deal is $62.9K, payable in cash at closing. The buyer is seeking a main studio waiver, signaling that it intends to expand the range of its Hays station.
