A three-way partnership between a trio of Hispanic men who have teamed to form BMax Media in the Baltimore suburb of Dundalk, Md., have agreed to purchase an AM radio station that’s long been associated with a longtime local broadcast ministry.

WRBS-AM 1230 in Baltimore, a Christian Talk & Teaching station with 600 watts from 1 tower east of downtown, is being sold to BMax by the licensee that operates under the Brighter Media Group banner.

Signing off on the sale is GM Steve Lawhon; the legal counsel for WRBS-AM, LLC is Dan J. Alpert.

A $337,000 purchase price has been agreed to, with a 10% deposit being held by broker Beth Griffin of Griffin Media Partners. She represented Brighter Media Group in this deal.

Serving as BMax Media’s legal counsel is John C. Trent of Putbrese Hunsacker & Trent.

BMax is led by Julio Arquinio, who partnered with José Rigoberto Ortega and Sergio Fuente. Each holds 1/3 interest in the company.
