He spent more than a decade at Univision Communications, rising to VP of Advertising Sales, before exiting for a similar role at Estrella Media. In August 2022, he joined Gray Television to lead its Spanish-language media sales, a role enmeshed in its build-out of Telemundo-affiliated properties across much of the nation.
Now, Jason Hall is being promoted at the company today known as Gray Media.
Hall is now Sr. VP of Spanish Media Sales, and “will continue to drive and oversee sales initiatives” for nearly 50 affiliates airing Telemundo programming.
The “GrayTV Telemundo Station Group is comprised of broadcast stations in eight Texas markets and in Atlanta and is overseen by Susan Sim Oh, VP of Strategy and Operations for the GrayTV Telemundo Station Group.
“Thank you Susan and to everyone who has supported, challenged, and believed in me throughout my personal journey,” Hall said via a LinkedIn post. “I’m truly honored and grateful for this opportunity. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside incredible teams, clients, and partners, in my career and this next chapter is an exciting opportunity to build on what we’ve accomplished together. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow our Hispanic media business and delivering even greater results for clients and impact across Gray Media’s local markets
Hall formerly served as VP of Sales, a title given to him in October 2023 after being hired as Senior Director of Spanish Media Sales. Before that, Hall spent six months in Hartford leading the media sales efforts for Audacy’s WTIC-AM & FM, WZMX and WRCH.
The bulk of Hall’s experience is in U.S. Hispanic media, as he’s served as Executive VP of Advertising Sales at Estrella Media. From 2007-2017, Hall was associated with Univision, rising from RVP/Sales to VP/Director of Sales before jumping up to VP of Advertising Sales in 2016.
