The agenda for the final Open Commission Meeting of the FCC under the leadership of Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel has been revealed.
Four items are on the meeting schedule, and none have anything to do with an outstanding order’s decision or a proposed rulemaking.
Rather, the January 15, 2025 affair will see senior Bureau, Office, and Task Force staff lead a series of presentations.
In the first of our panels, the Commission will hear presentations on the agency’s work on expanding connectivity and access to modern communications.
A second panel will see the Commission hear presentations on the agency’s work on making communications “more just for more people in more places.”
Panel Three has the FCC hearing presentations on the agency’s work on national security, public safety, and protecting consumers.
Lastly, a fourth panel will see the Commission hear presentations on the agency’s work on the future of communications.
The meeting is scheduled for 10:30am Eastern in the Commission Meeting Room of FCC Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
