That’s Queen of Peace Radio Inc., a non-commercial broadcaster getting a second AM in Jacksonville FL courtesy of Nancy Epperson’s Chesapeake-Portsmouth Broadcasting Corporation. Queen of Peace, which already owns WQOP-AM, says it’ll take the station noncommercial. The price for WZNZ will be 1.6M cash. Epperson will retain a presence in the market. She has WBOB-AM, a 50% interest in an AM CP earmarked for Nassau Village-Ratliff FL, and in interest in a pair of noncommercial stations, WCRJ-FM and WAYL-FM.
