A Class A FM serving Minden, La., with Christian Contemporary Music focused on classic artists including Amy Grant and Casting Crowns is about to become the property of a new licensee.
That’s because Family Life Educational Foundation has filed paperwork with the FCC seeking its approval to sell the noncomm.
KFLO-FM 90.9 is being acquired by Spring Quest, of Haughton, La.
The deal also include FM translator K214BE in Shreveport.
A $125,000 purchase price has been agreed to, with all funds immediately payable at closing to Family Life.
The buyer is led by husband and wife Issac and Robin House, and this transaction replaces a previous plan to build a new low-power FM station, which Spring Quest had applied for in December 2023. The application was dismissed by the FCC per Spring Quest’s request on April 10.
