It reaches such Bayou Country towns as Oak Grove and Lake Providence, on the banks of the Mississippi River. It also reaches Eudora, Ark., just to the north of the state line.

Now, this FM serving the “Ark-La-Miss” area since 1958 is heading to a new owner.

Class C3 KWCL-FM 96.7, licensed to Oak Grove, is being spun by Irene Robinson (pictured, at top left).

The buyer is Adam Holland-led Holland Broadcasting LLC.

The deal, dated March 21, keeps KWCL in local hands. And, it follows the December 2021 announcement that Robinson would be retiring after 50 years.

The transaction includes the station’s offices and studios, with a value of $135,000 agreed upon by the parties.

A 25% escrow payment has been made by Holland, and is being held by Molly Clement.
