A Regional Digital Program Director has been named by iHeartMedia, and this will see an individual handle the strategy, audience growth, and maximizing iHeartMedia’s digital platforms in both Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Taking the position is Doug Hall. He reports to iHeartMedia/L.A. SVP of Programming John Peake. He said of Hall, “I’ve watched Doug grow and evolve from his time in promotions to leading winning teams in San Francisco, Miami and Nashville. We are fortunate to have him leading our LA Digital efforts and rejoining the team in San Francisco.”

Hall started his radio career in 2006 as a Promotions Assistant at KIIS-FM, the heritage Top 40 station owned by iHeartMedia serving Los Angeles. After a few years in that role, he worked his way into the developing digital department, where he was instrumental in building the video strategy and team for the iHeartRadio Los Angeles cluster from the ground up. Then, he became the Digital Director in the Miami and San Francisco markets.

Most recently, Hall has been on the national iHeartRadio team as a Senior Digital Director out of the Nashville headquarters. He will now be moving back to Los Angeles.

“I’m excited for this full circle moment, coming back to Los Angeles, where it all started,” Hall said. “I can’t wait to dive in and help both our Los Angeles and San Francisco markets continue to grow and innovate in the digital space.”
