The radio stations that comprise iHeartMedia’s Minneapolis-St. Paul cluster now have a new VP/Sales, and it is an individual who joined the company nine years ago as an Account Executive.

Earning the promotion is Andrew Metzen, who will now oversee the sales efforts of nine audio brands serving the Twin Cities.

His promotion comes following a rise to Local Sales Manager in March 2022.

Metzen reports to Eric Lonnquist, Senior Vice President of Sales for iHeartMedia  in Minneapolis. “Andrew has always been a standout leader here at iHeart, and we can’t wait to see him bring that energy and expertise to this new role,” Lonnquist remarked. “His strong client relationships and strategic mindset will be instrumental taking our team to the next level.”

Metzen added, “We have outstanding products, dynamic personalities, and an exceptional sales team. I’m thrilled to take on this leadership role and look forward to continuing to deliver innovative solutions and elevate iHeartMedia Minneapolis.”

In addition to Metzen’s promotion, iHeartMedia Minneapolis also announced that Bo Schiffler will succeed Metzen as LSM, rising from an AE role.

“We are very excited to welcome Bo to our leadership team. His extensive experience across all media platforms will help drive business results for our clients and further strengthen the collaborative culture we’ve built here at iHeart,” said Lonnquist.

The Twin Cities radio station group for iHeartMedia includes Top 40 KDWB, Country KEEY, Sports siblings KFXN and “FAN+,” Adult Contemporary KTCZ, Talk KTLK, Adult Hits KQQL, “HOT 102.5,” and a Black Information Network affiliate.
