Idol marches on (again)

0

It would be big news if "American Idol" didn’t top the ratings in a week without any blockbuster, special event competition – and we have no such big news to report. Indeed, the Fox moneymaker was 1-2 for its two nights, with CBS claiming the honors for having the top scripted show, "The Mentalist."

In Household numbers, CBS was on top with a 7.1 rating and 12 share, with Fox at 5.8/9, ABC 4.8/8, NBC 4.1/7, Univision 2.0/3, CW 1.1/2, MyNetworkTV 0.9/2, Telemundo 0.6/1, Ion and TeleFutura tied at 0.4/1, and Azteca America 0.1/0.

But Fox scored a strong win in the key 18-49 demo, followed by CBS, ABC, NBC, Univision, CW, MyNetworkTV, Telemundo, TeleFutura, Ion and Azteca America.
