Newly-minted KTUG-FM in Hudson WY is getting a new owner. The station is headed from Victor A. Michael Jr.’s Kona Coast Radio to Higher Calling Communications Inc., headed by Shane Haynes and Kevin Tippets.

According to Gene Ferry and Company Media Brokerage LLC, the price is $115K. $95K of that will be paid pursuant to a promissory note. The buyer has an option to begin operating the station prior to closing under terms of an LMA.

Hudson is near the center of the state between Riverton and Lander. Ferry says it will serve both communities. It will be the only station in Higher Calling’s portfolio.

The station is licensed as a Class C2 on 105.7 MHz with 3 kw @ 1,322’, but holds a CP to move to a new tower as a Class C3, and to slide a few clicks down the dial to 105.1 MHz with 12.5 kw @ 262’.
