The House Energy and Commerce Committee has made it official. It will hold its first hearing on the National Broadband Plan on Thursday, 3/25/10. In point of fact, the Committee’s key Subcommittee — Communications, Technology, and the Internet – will be hosting the festivities.

Subcommittee chair Rick Boucher (D-VA) may be planning a mini-marathon on the topic. The session kicks off at 9AM, between 30-to-60 minutes earlier than the usual hearing start time.

The Senate Commerce Committee has NBP on the schedule two days earlier, Tuesday 3/23/10 at 2:30PM.
