It has targeted 26 Republican incumbents in 14 states with a multimillion dollar time reservation.

DCCC has not specified who the targets are, but it confirmed the Politico report by linking to it on its own website.

According to the report, the targeted Republicans are not only located in districts that the current minority party thinks it can turn around, they are also located for the most part in what figure to be presidential battleground states.

The targeted turf stretches from the Northeast all the way to the Rocky Mountains.

The reservations are said to be valued at $32M, which is more than the DCCC has in its bank account at the moment.

The time booking is far earlier than usual, and it is being said that the DCCC is expecting an unprecedented amount of PAC spending in the wake of the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling, and wants to make sure it’s messaging will have available airtime well in advance of the rush for air inventory.
