Bend, OR-based Horizon Broadcasting Group has signed a five year deal with C3 to present Central Oregon’s premiere lineup of concerts and festivals.  The first is a holiday event at The Riverhouse Convention Center in December.

The events lineup also includes Bend Spring Festival, the annual concert series at the Athletic Club of Bend, the Bend Summer Festival, Munch and Music (Drake Park in Bend), Munch and Movies in Bend and Redmond, The Bend Fall Festival, a Christmas event at The Riverhouse Convention Center, and a series of events for Northwest Crossing (Hullabaloo, NW Crossing Saturday Farmers Market, Polar Express, North Rim Lodge Concerts).

C3 Events will also produce a pair of listener appreciation concerts for Horizon – one for Rock & Roll’s Greatest Hits 105.7 KQAK and another for The PEAK 104.1– to be held in conjunction with the Bend Summer Festival in downtown Bend.

Keith Shipman, Horizon CEO, says they engaged C3 Events to produce Bend’s newest event – Alive After 5 at The Old Mill District – for them last summer, and it was a big success:  “We are excited to partner with Cameron Clark and his team to present Central Oregon’s historic lineup of events from the Bend Summer Festival to the annual concert series at the Athletic Club of Bend.  HBG has operated in Bend for almost 12 years and we are proud to affiliate our radio stations with the most successful events in the region, and with an outstanding group of professionals at C3 Events.”

Horizon O&O’s stations in Central Oregon also include KLTW-FM (LITE 95.1, Soft AC), KBNW-AM (News Radio Central Oregon, News/Talk), KWLZ-FM (News/Talk) and KRCO-AM-FM (Classic Country).  The company also operates a community web portal mycentraloregon.com.
