Very little is changing in the licensee name for the owner of KATX-FM Eastland TX – basically LLC is being swapped out for Inc. But there will be a 100% change in ownership.
The full name of the license companies, minus the last part, is High Plains Radio Network.
The seller is Monte Spearman.
The buyer is Terry Slavens.
The price is $450,000, and it will be paid entirely via seller paper. This one involves a weekly rather than a monthly payment, in the amount of $1,153.85 over the course of 12 years.
KATX-FM is a Class A on 97.7 MHz with 3 kW @ 203’.
Eastland is located in unrated territory on I-20, which connects Dallas-Ft. Worth and Abilene. Out of the two markets, KATX-FM is much closer to Abilene to its west, but is close to neither.
This will be the buyer’s sole broadcast property.
