Hearst Television SVPs Frank C. Biancuzzo and Michael J. Hayes are now EVPs.

They will continue to share responsibility for management oversight of the bulk of the company’s portfolio of 30 television stations and two radio stations, in tandem with Hearst Television President Jordan Wertlieb.

“Frank and Mike are outstanding broadcasters who continue to lead Hearst Television stations to new heights,” Wertlieb said. “Their in-depth, first-hand operational knowledge and understanding of the components of local television that make these businesses vital to their respective communities provides our group unmatched leadership and is instrumental in Hearst Television’s future growth.”

Since 2007, Biancuzzo served as a SVP and group head at Hearst Television. Previously, he was President/GM of Hearst’s ABC affiliate WISN-TV in Milwaukee. Before that, Biancuzzo was Hearst Television’s VP/Marketing & Promotion, overseeing the stations’ audience promotion, positioning and branding, image development, research and local newscast development. He joined the company as director of promotion & marketing in 1995. Previously, he served for six years at Frank N. Magid Associates, marketing group research and consultation.

Prior to his most recent promotion in 2013, Hayes was the President/GM of Hearst’s WTAE-TV, the ABC affiliate in Pittsburgh. Prior to that, Hayes was President/GM of Hearst’s WYFF-TV, the NBC affiliate in the Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C., market.
