What does this mean for Salem in Washington, D.C.?
Nic Anderson, who presently serves as its GM in Minneapolis-St. Paul, will add corporate Government Relations duties to his plate.
Anderson is active with Minneapolis Broadcasters Association and is an active participant in the state leadership conference. In July 2021, Anderson was selected by the MBA to travel to Washington as part of a fly-in where he represented the MBA, Salem, and the NAB.
Salem says Anderson has “a deep passion and talent in this area, and he understands the unique aspects of Salem which impact our strategies and how we communicate inside and outside of the beltway”
“It’s always good to reward talented people inside the company when new opportunities arise,” added David Santrella, Salem’s President of Broadcast Media.
