He previously spent eight years as Senior Director of Sales for NBC Bay Area, comprised of NBC-affiliated KNTV-11 and Telemundo-affiliated KSTS-48 in San Jose, and both the NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California regional sports networks.
Now, this media sales veteran is heading up sales for NBCUniversal in “America’s Finest City.”
Taking the VP/Sales role for KNSD “NBC 7” and KNSD “Telemundo 20” in San Diego is Justin Halverson.
He’ll join the two stations on October 7, overseeing national, local and digital sales across the stations’ TV, streaming and digital platforms.
Hel reports to President/GM Missy Crawford, who says Halverson has a “proven track record of success driving revenue and across TV, streaming and digital platforms and understands how clients can best be served in this the fast-evolving media landscape.”
Prior to his time in the Bay Area, Halverson held various sales roles within the media industry, including Technology Account Manager at Oracle, National Account Executive at Ampersand, and Local Account Executive at Effectv.
