The GM of Gray Television‘s NBC affiliate in Louisville, formerly the head of its WVUE-8 in New Orleans, is being promoted to a senior-level position.

At the same time, Gray has created the position of Regional Vice President/General Manager and is elevating five General Managers into this new role.

An expanded senior operations management team is taking shape at Gray, and Ronna Corrente is now SVP of Local Media, tasked with oversight of Gray’s television markets in the Southeast.

Corrente has been GM of WAVE-3 in Louisville since August 2021, shifting from similar duties at Gray-owned FOX affiliate WVUE-8 in New Orleans. She’s also led Gray’s WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge.

Corrente started her career in Louisville, at Fox affiliate WDKY-56 in Lexington, Ky.

She’s earning a role that until now has been held by Chris Mossman. He has resigned, and will be pursuing other opportunities outside of Gray Television.
