Add the NYSE-traded Gray Media to the roster of broadcast television companies that will be releasing their respective Q4 and full-year 2024 earnings on February 27.
The company led by Hilton Howell Jr. and Pat LaPlatney will share its results with analysts and investors during an 11am Eastern earnings call on that Thursday, following calls from Nexstar (at 10am Eastern) and TEGNA (at 9am Eastern).
What can investors expect to hear from the Gray C-Suite?
Six analysts have offered their revenue estimates to Yahoo! Finance, and the consensus estimate is for Q4 2024 revenue of $1.04 billion, up 20.2% from the same period in 2023 thanks to a bonanza of political ad dollars.
Three analysts chimed in with earnings per share prognostications, and the consensus EPS for Gray in Q4 comes in at $1.27. That’s down by 23 cents from the same period of 2023.
At present, Gray shares are trading in the mid-$3 range. On a five-year trend, that’s sobering, as long-term investors have lost 84% of their investment value. On a six-month trend, Gray shares are down by 41.5% in value.
