Gray Gives Green Light To Fresh FOX Deal

It went independent with its WANF-46 in Atlanta, but that’s a unique situation tied to Paramount Skydance’s desire to have CBS on an O&O in the South’s biggest market and years of anticipation that, one day, the network would land on an owned property.

For Gray Media and its FOX-affiliated stations, the situation is very different — and secure.

Atlanta-headquartered Gray on Monday announced that it has reached an agreement with the Fox Television Network that extends and renews the network affiliations for all of Gray’s Fox affiliated television stations across 27 markets.

This ensures that no “Great Affiliation Swap” will be taking place in some 27 markets.

As such, Gray Media stations in the following markets will retain their FOX affiliation:

  • Bismarck, N.D.
  • Bowling Green, Ky.
  • Cincinnati
