Until the passing of Byron L. Dobbs, he and Randy Gravley — known for his role as NAB Radio Board Chair — were 50/50 partners in Tri-State Communications.

Per Dobbs’ Last Will and Testament, filed in Cherokee County, Ga., Probate Court in September 2022, Dobbs left his share of the radio broadcasting company to Gravely.

Now, paperwork has been filed with the FCC that will give Gravely 100% ownership of the company, per Dobbs’ wishes upon his death.
