A Spanish-language Christian-themed radio station using a Class D AM radio station with a broadcast tower just southwest of the Gandy Bridge connecting St. Petersburg and Tampa is being sold. What does the future hold for “Genesis 680”?
That will be up to Revival Ministries International, which is agreeing to purchase WGES-AM 680 in St. Petersburg, Fla., from Vision Communications Network.
A $610,000 purchase price has been agreed to, and terms call for the assumption of the station’s tower lease.
A $100,000 payment has been executed, and the remainder will be honored by a Promissory Note.
There is no broker or finder in this deal. Davina Sashkin of Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP served as the buyer’s legal counsel.
