On October 26, 2022, 11 months after the FCC’s Media Bureau issued a public notice identifying 231 groups of mutually exclusive noncommercial FM applications, the results of a “threshold fair distribution of service” analyses were revealed. In Group 152, the NPR Member station serving western New Mexico and parts of the Navajo Nation was declared the victor, beating out New Hope Baptist Church-Gallup and Good News Broadcasting Network.
Now, the Media Bureau has dismissed the application for a construction permit for this licensee.
