WASHINGTON, D.C. — She joined the FOX Television Stations duopoly serving the National Capital Region in 2017 as VP of Finance. Before that, she spent 15 years at CNN, holding various finance-oriented roles.
Now, she’s the new SVP/Manager at WTTG-5 and WDCA-20, taking a role last held by an individual who was just promoted to Executive Vice President of Ad Sales for Fox Television Stations.
Earning the promotion to the position last held by Patrick Paolini is Sue Diviney.
She reports directly to FOX Television Stations CEO Jack Abernethy, and in this role will be responsible for overseeing the stations’ business and operations.
“As an experienced and engaged finance executive, Sue is adept at collaborating with all departments to achieve strategic goals,” Abernethy said. “I look forward to continued growth and innovation under her leadership with our terrific team in DC.”
Diviney, who is a graduate of the 2020 NAB Broadcast Leadership Training program, said, “I am honored for the tremendous opportunity to lead this exceptional team to continued success. As a 30-year resident of the DC area, I understand this market and recognize the importance of providing this community with strong local coverage that often has national significance.”
WDCA is branded as “FOX 5 Plus.”
