With 10kw of broadcast power, a Class C1 FM licensed to Cheney, Wash., has served a wide swath of Eastern Washington’s largest city and neighboring Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with a non-commercial Jazz format since Jazz that in summer 2023 faced a questionable future. The station’s owner said the station would shut down by year’s end. That didn’t happen. Now, a sale is about to transpire, and its future is devoted to the hits of yesteryear.
