In early March, RBR+TVBR reported on the departure of the Director of Content for TEGNA‘s CBS-affiliated WTSP-10 in Tampa-St. Petersburg. Kelly Frank was moving to Philadelphia, to take on the role of President/GM of CBS O&O WCAU-10 and “CW Philly” WPSG-57.
TEGNA has now selected Frank’s successor on Gandy Blvd.
Taking the role is Nicole Wolfe.
Her first day at WTSP is scheduled for Monday, June 20.

Wolfe has served since June 21 as News Director of The E.W. Scripps Co.‘s “Florida 24 Network,” an over-the-top (OTT) offering that serves as an online aggregation point for stories produced by Scripps’ WFTX “FOX4” in Fort Myers-Naples, WFTS-28 in Tampa-St. Petersburg, WPTV-5 in West Palm Beach and WTXL-27 in Tallahassee. It also includes reports produced for Scripps’ WSFL-39 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale by Berkshire Hathaway-controlled WPLG-10 in Miami.
Wolfe was based in South Florida.
Prior experience includes a run as Asst. News Director for WFTS-28. Before that, she held similar duties at WCMH-4 in Columbus, Ohio.
“It is an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to work with the news team at WTSP,” she said. “I look forward to working alongside a talented group of journalists committed to making an impact in the Tampa Bay community.”
In related news, Erica Guevara rises to Sr. Exec. Producer at WTSP. She is a former News/Digital Content Director for WPEC-12 in West Palm Beach, a Sinclair Broadcast Group-owned station. Concurrently, Taylor Berry joins WTSP as Morning Executive Producer. She was previously Exec. Producer of Black News Channel, working on its morning team.
All report to WTSP GM Kari Jacobs.
