FOX’s DFW O&O To Add New Newscasts

DALLAS — A lot of changes are coming to the FOX Television Stations’ owned broadcast property serving North Texas, and it is because new newscasts are being added to the weekday programming schedule.

Starting Monday (7/29), Paige Ellenberger will be joining “Good Day” co-anchor Shannon Murray at the anchor desk as Hannah Battah (above photo, at right) will be launching a new 4pm Central newscast for KDFW-4.

The 6am-10am hours of “Good Day” will continue to feature Brandon Todd and Lauren Przybyl.

With the syndicated Judge Judy in the 3pm hour, Battah will be joined by co-anchor Heather Hayes for the new 4pm newscast.

At 6:30pm another new newscast is being added by KDFW, this one featuring Hayes and Steve Eager.

This puts KDFW in the position of having the only local newscast in this time period.

Eager and Hayes will also helm the 9pm Central late news for KDFW.

At 10:30pm is FREE 4 ALL, a Sports show hosted by Mike Doocy and Sam Gannon.
