FOX News Media’s free ad-supported streaming television (“FAST”) weather service has expanded its distribution to include one of the nation’s two direct broadcast satellite services and its associated streaming application.
As of today, FOX Weather can be seen on DISH Network and Sling Freestream.
FOX Weather President Sharri Berg commented, “As we continue to grow our premium live weather news service, we are thrilled to expand FOX Weather’s reach to include DISH Network and Sling Freestream consumers.”
FOX Weather will be available on channel 222 and via the DISH Anywhere TV app.
Concurrently, FOX Weather joins Sling Freestream’s lineup of more than 400 free channels and a library of over 41,000 on-demand titles.
FOX Weather launched in October 2021 and is available through FOX Television Stations as a digital multicast network in markets such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
