Fox TV Stations Head To Chair BFOA Golf Affair

The Chief Executive Officer of FOX Television Stations has been selected as Chair of the Broadcasters Foundation of America‘s 2026 Celebrity Golf Tournament, scheduled for September 14 at Siwanoy Country Club, in the Westchester County city of Bronxville.

The Celebrity Golf Tournament, scheduled for the Monday following IBC 2026 in Amsterdam and the Rosh Hashanah holiday, is the BFOA’s second-largest annual fundraiser. The gather historically brings together leaders and celebrities from broadcasting, entertainment, and sports to support the Foundation’s mission of providing financial assistance to radio and television professionals facing acute hardship caused by a debilitating illness or disaster.

“The BFOA Celebrity Golf Tournament is one of the industry’s signature events,” Abernethy said. “It offers a unique opportunity to play one of the region’s premier courses while spending the day with colleagues, industry leaders, and celebrities, all in support of a charity that provides a vital lifeline to our fellow broadcasters when they need it most.”

All proceeds from the tournament directly benefit the BFOA’s charitable mission.
