Fox took third-place Monday but 'House' remains #2

FOX kicked off last night with week 3 of HOUSE, which posted a 3.9/11 – up +3% from last week – and was the highest rated drama of the night among Adults 18-49. HOUSE outperformed ABC’s Castle, CBS’ Hawaii Five-O and NBC’s Chuck, The Event and Chase among Adults 18-49 and was the highest rated program of the night outright among Adults 18-34. 


At 9p the season premiere of LIE TO ME delivered a 2.2/5 among Adults 18-49, up +22% from its Summer’10 average of originals (1.8/5) and virtually doubling the rating in the time period week over week. 

FOX ranked third for the night among Adults 18-49 and No. 1 among Adults 18-34 (tie).

Competition
ABC’s Dancing With The Stars (4.3/11) was down -10% from last week (4.8/12). Castle followed with a 3.0/8 at 10p and is inflated due to DWTS over-running into the 10p hour.

On CBS, How I Met Your Mother (3.4/10), Rules of Engagement (3.0/8), and Two and a Half Men (4.5/11) each hit their lowest levels of the season (down -13%, -6%, and -6%, respectively).  Mike and Molly (3.8/9) was up +3% week over week while Hawaii Five-O (3.5/9) dipped -3% versus last week.  Through the first three weeks of the season, Mike and Molly (3.8/9) and Hawaii Five-O (3.7/10) are down -22% and -12%, respectively, from CBS’ year-ago time period levels (4.9/11, The Big Bang Theory; 4.2/11, CSI: Miami).

On NBC, Chuck (1.9/5) was down -5% from last week (2.0/5). Week three of new dramas The Event (2.4/6) and Chase (1.7/5) were both their lowest so far, down -17% and -19% respectively from their second telecasts. In fact, The Event and Chase dropped -33% and -26%, respectively, from their season premieres.
