Fox: “The Following” up 17%

For the fifth consecutive Monday (and every night it has aired), THE FOLLOWING was the highest rated drama of the night among Adults 18-49.


·         BONES: 2.1/6, down one tenth (-5%) from last week in the core demo but up +12% among Adults 18-34 (1.9/6 vs. 1.7/5)

·         THE FOLLOWING: 2.8/7, up +17% in Adults 18-49 and +6% among Total Viewers (8.3 vs. 7.8 Mil) from last week.

o    In Adults 18-34, THE FOLLOWING posted its second highest rating to date (behind only week two).

Competition

ABC’s The Bachelor (3.0/8, up +11%) and Castle (2.2/6, up +10%) were both up from last week.

CBS’ How I Met Your Mother (3.4/10) was up +6% from last week (3.2/9), while Rules of Engagement (2.8/7) was even with last week’s season low (2.8/8). At 9pm, 2 Broke Girls (3.4/8) fell -6% week to week. Mike & Molly (3.1/8, up +3%) and Hawaii Five-0 (2.0/5, down -5%) were in both line with their performances last week.

On NBC, The Biggest Loser (2.1/5, up +5%) was in line with last week’s performance. At 10pm, Deception (1.2/3) was flat week-to-week, but through seven telecasts remains down -58% and -46% and from the comparable averages of NBC’s previous Monday 10pm freshman programs, this fall’s Revolution (1.4/4 vs. 3.3/9) and last spring’s Smash (1.4/4 vs. 2.6/7).
