The Vice President and General Sales Manager of “FOX 6” in Milwaukee has added similar responsibilities for the FOX Television Stations duo serving nearby Chicago, overseeing all day-to-day sales efforts across three properties.
Bob O’Neil will now hold the title of Vice President and Regional General Sales Manager for FOX’s Chicago and Milwaukee properties, comprised of WFLX “FOX 32” and WPWR-50 “FOX+” and WITI-6, respectively.
He reports to Glenn Berk, Senior Vice President and General Manager of FOX’s Chicago stations; and Mim Davey, Senior Vice President and General Manager of FOX Milwaukee.
Making the announcement is FOX Television Stations SVP of Ad Sales Sheila Bruce.
“As a veteran sales executive with over twenty years of experience in the Midwest, Bob is uniquely qualified to lead the talented sales teams in Chicago and Milwaukee and maximize the sales opportunities for our advertisers and stations,” she said.
O’Neil commented, “I am committed to forging strong partnerships for our clients by leveraging the power of FOX’s premier news products and digital offerings, as well as the strength of the full spectrum of FOX sports through the Bears, Packers, NFL, MLB, and more to drive significant growth for the company.”
O’Neil rose to VP/GSM from LSM in June 2024 and was the head of local sales at WITI-6 since 2002. Before joining WITI, he spent six years at Hearst Television, first as a Sales Representative and later, as National Sales Manager.
