The company to be spun-off in connection with 21st Century Fox’s merger with The Walt Disney Company has named its Chief Investor Relations Officer and EVP/Corporate Initiatives.

Taking the role at Fox Corporation is FOX Television Stations CFO Joseph Dorrego. In this role, Dorrego will lead the development and execution of Fox Corporation’s investor relations program and oversee various initiatives for the company. He reports to Fox Corp. COO John Nallen.

Dorrego has served as VP/Investor Relations for 21CF, where he assisted with the coordination and execution of the investor relations program and served as a liaison between senior corporate and operating unit executives and the investment community. Dorrego earlier served as VP/Finance, and began his tenure at 21CF (then News Corp.) in 2004 as the Director of SEC Reporting and Accounting Policy.

Concurrently, Fox Television Stations will see Mike Nelson replace Dorrego as the division’s CFO, starting March 1. He shifts from a similar role at the Twentieth Century Fox Film unit.

Nelson has served as EVP/Controller for 21CF Film and began his career as an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand in Los Angeles.
