Mike Neale, VP/General Sales Manager for FOX Television Stations’ owned-and-operated property serving Wisconsin’s largest market, is retiring in June.

Who is succeeding him at WITI-6 in Milwaukee is now known.

Taking the top sales role for the station is Bob O’Neil.

He reports to SVP/General Manager Glenn Berk and will lead all the station’s sales efforts, both local and national.

With O’Neil’s ascent, National Sales Manager Stu Swaziek will be promoted to Sales Manager and take on additional responsibilities, including overseeing the local account executive team.

Berk stated, “I’d like to thank Mike for his years of dedication and leadership as GSM at WITI. The fact that we are able to promote from within, not one, but two of his Sales Managers, is truly a testament to the impact he has had here at FOX 6. Bob and Stu are veterans in sales who are well positioned for a seamless transition and will use their expertise to lead this sales team to new heights.”

Neale had been with WITI since 1997, first as Local Sales Manager, then in his current role, which he has held since November 2001.

O’Neil has served as Local Sales Manager of WITI since February 2002. Prior to joining the station, he spent six years at Hearst Television, first as a Sales Representative and later, as National Sales Manager. He commented, “I am thrilled for the opportunity to become WITI’s next General Sales Manager and looking forward to leading our outstanding sales team to continued success while leveraging our products and strengths to drive growth, and forge successful partnerships.”
