Former Radio Exec Snares Sinclair GM Job

In the late 1990s, a Baldwin Wallace University graduate who served for a year as the Executive Director of the Montgomery, Ala., ballet took a career turn and became an account executive for Cumulus Media’s stations in the market.

Two years later, she joined Clear Channel Communications, spending 1998-2000 as a national and regional sales manager. Perhaps her biggest career move came in 2000, when she was chosen to lead a relaunch of Radio Disney in Cleveland.

For the next 14 years she was associated with Radio Disney, rising to a sales and marketing VP. Now this independent consultant and author is returning to media in a somewhat surprising way: she’s been selected to run Sinclair Broadcast Group‘s FOX affiliate in Richmond.
