Control of the Bath, Maine-based “The Memories Stations,” owned by the late Bob Bittner, has passed from Blue Jey Broadcasting Co. into new hands as his estate is settled. With no will in place, the Sagahadoc County, Maine Probate Court has recently issued a Letter of Authority, dated September 19, appointing a personal representative.
Bittner’s portfolio includes WBAS-AM 1240 in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts, which serves Cape Cod along with W268CP at 106.5 MHz. In Maine, his holdings included WLVP-AM 870 in Gorham, serving Portland along with W286DR at 105.1 MHz; WJTP-AM 730 in Bath, paired with W287DD at 105.3 MHz; and WLAM-AM 1470 in Lewiston, complemented by W247DK at 97.3 MHz.
Now Bittner’s wife, Raisa Bittner, will serve as the estate’s personal representative, taking on the role of sole shareholder for the stations. Both Blue Jey and Raisa are represented by Allan G. Moskowitz, Esq. So far, no further plans for the stations have been filed or revealed.
