Weigel Broadcasting Co.’s broadcast station serving Chicago has unveiled its local broadcast schedule for the local Women’s National Basketball Association franchise. Coverage on “The U” begins with the season opener on May 9.
That’s when the Chicago Sky take on the Portland Fire, with coverage beginning on WCIU-26 in Chicago at 8pm Central.
WCIU will broadcast 24 Chicago Sky games as part of its agreement with the WNBA franchise, including the Sky’s home opener Wednesday, May 20 at 8pm Central versus the Dallas Wings.
